Hi, I am looking for a female roommate to share a nice common room with me at Block 93 Whampoa Drive, walking distance to Novena MRT (10-15 minutes) or just a few bus stops away within minutes. Direct bus to Orchard, Bugis, Shenton way, Kallang, Toa Payoh, City Hall, Bukit Merah and others; easily access to everywhere in Singapore. Wet market, shops and hawker centre (day & night) are just across the main road. NTUC, clinics, hospital and others are just nearby.
The monthly rental of this room is $650 and we both have an equal share ($325/pax). This room has 2 single bed (steel) with mattress, 2 tables, 2 stools and a 3-door cupboard (we both share this cupboard). Rental inclusive of PUB: water, electricity and unlimited internet access. Light cooking is allowed and we are allowed to use the fridge for light storage. We can also use the oven and washing machine; water heater is provided in the bath room. This house has one toilet and one bathroom separately.
This house has 3 rooms and a total of 5 females staying in the house including you and me. The young Chinese couple owner is just staying next door. They are both friendly and nice to talk with. They are looking for female only but very sorry NO China (country) and Indian (race) as they prefer Malaysian/ Singapore Chinese or others. They wish all the 5 of us staying under one roof could take care of the house and thus we have to do some very simple ‘duty-roster’ once a week or month to keep the house clean for the comfort of ourselves. We discuss among 5 of us.
There are currently 2 female students staying in the room and will move out on 14th of August. So we both can move in on the 15th of August together. I am a Malaysian Chinese female, single, working office hour 8am-5pm Mon-Fri and half-day on alternate Saturday; Sunday and public holiday off. I am trying to look for someone who has more or less the same working hour with me if possible. Of course we can meet up, know each other and you can have a look at this room if everything is ok for you.
As usual the owner takes one month deposit but the only thing is that: I got this room from agent, so we have to pay half month of the rental as agent fee to him (so did the owner pay him in front of me) and since we are sharing the room, so each of us pay him a one-time payment of $162.50 to him as agent fee ($325/2). The agent will bring us to have a look after booking an appointment with the owner, wait for him at Novena MRT. Contact me if everything is fine and interested for you.
